Someone To Share

Relaxing afternoon Painting toenails red. Curling up with a book After rolling out of bed. At peace within my soul, Content with the life I lead. Not rich in material things But have everything I need. Would like someone to share This peaceful life with me. A partner, a friend and lover, Then how perfect my life would be.

Nice rhyming and simply worded descriptiveness in only twelve lines. This is a nice presentation.

Francine I do agree, it doesn't take material things to be happy especially if you have someone who is your partner and your lover and your very best friend that helps you pass the time as your life long companion instead of always being alone without anyone to enjoy every waking moment while you are still among the living, I know these feelings that you are experiencing and I feel for you my new poet friend. Francine I can relate to this rhyme so well and all we can do is continue to wait for the right one to come along it's been nearly two and a half years since I had the pleasure of being with a woman but she gave up the love that she had so that she could be with her children who are all full grown and out on there own,I just wish I would have known after being with her for such a long time that she would change her mind and move on.
