SOME SO VERY WEIRD CHAPS On out walking one ghostly night I came upon such a strange sight 4 tartan-clad lads carrying a pole Me; as thinking, how flippin’ droll I followed them, in ghastly winds Leaving their hair in frantic spins Heads bowed not a word spoken Their pace; steady not as broken Somber faced, well, on a mission Not one clue; given as admission Until eventually; they all stopped The darn pole at last as dropped Seems they lacked; one goal post As playing away to the other host But; all was well, they won 5 - nil Which; kind of added to the thrill Finding some so very weird chaps Walking in their tartan-clad wraps Holding a pole whilst crossing vale In what was to be, a 10 force gale Indiana Shaw . . . ; ) "I can only presume they are all mates of Billy Connely" . . . : )
