Some Dreams
Some dreams are made of stardust
glitter floating in the sky
The rhythm of a gentle stream
that's slowly passing by
A garden filled with roses
in a pink and white display
The ocean, a secluded beach,
the warmest summer day
Some dreams are made of candy canes
and chocolate by the pound
Or finding pirate treasure
buried somewhere in the ground
The snow upon a mountain top
as white as it can be
A bluebird's happy melody
up in a maple tree
Some dreams are made of autumn
and the chill within the air
A wondrous day in springtime,
all the beauty born to share
The sunrise in the morning
as you open up your eyes
A sunset lazy afternoon
on pastel colored skies
So many things make up our dreams,
I cannot count them all
For everyone they're different
when the evening comes to call
My wish is that these dreams we dream
will somehow all come true
Because each night I go to bed
my dreams are made of you
