Solitary Life Part I
Solitary Life Story/poem
There once lived a man - that had money to spend.
He had so much he thought he didn't need anything
more. One day he decided to live all alone and never
talk to a human being again.
He had a home built on the out skirts of town. It was
a beautiful home. He had it surrounded by a high fence,
so no one could see or bother him. He talked to a lawyer
and told him of his plans.
He ask the lawyer how much it would cost him to have his
home maintained, bring him groceries, pay his bills for the
the rest of his life, including his honoraries.
They came to a deal. The man paid the lawyer a lot of money.
He would never see, or talk to the lawyer again, or anyone
else for that matter. After that he went to his home and
isolated himself from everyone.
Sometimes he went out for a walk, there were no other houses
around. One day he notice that he had a neighbor and she said
hello to him, as he walked by, but he did not answer. He also
encountered a dog that barked at him, but he paid no attention.
His life went on like that for sometime. He continueed his walks
without paying attention to the dog that barked at him, or his
neighbor. He lived a lonely life, but didn't care.
He was always afraid that someone would try to get into his
house to rob him, or hurt him. He decided to cover all the windows.
One day he notice that the chimney had an opening and thought
to himself - got to do something about that.
One day he went up to the chimney as he was trying to cover it
up, he slipped and fell through. He felt a lot of pain on his back.
The pain was so bad, that he thought he was going to die, but
the pain soon went away....
