Solemn Knights of Light
Do not
despair, my friend,
there is still hope for a better world,
for us to make:
kinder,
nobler,
juster
for
I discern,
far on the horizon of time,
the dawning of a new era,
an era,
of love and understanding.
Look,
there is the cavalry of the righteous,
all set up to mount their horses of
virtue.
Now,
I clearly see them-
these solemn knights of light-
ready to gallop on the fields of
universal brotherhood
with
their swords of retribution in
hand
for
to overthrow evil's empire of hate and
enthrone, our Lord's fallen law of love,
restoring it to its previous glory,
thus
bringing, at last, peace on earth,
the peace for which our Heavenly Father has
His only son sacrificed!
