Soldiers
In Flander’s Fields, the poppies grow vast
They remind us of the wars from the past
So, on November Eleventh, we unite with one goal;
To remember the soldiers who fought as a whole
While the war filled the minds of the people with grief,
The soldiers held up our flag, emblazoned with the maple leaf
Day by day we stand for a moment of silence
Never shall we forget the soldiers who ended the violence
Before they rest in the land higher than the sky,
They salute the people and give us one last goodbye
For all the soldiers who made the war cease,
Thank you, and may you rest in peace.
