This kind of writing is what makes poetry invaluable. Keeping our soldiers' plight alive in the minds of people who take our freedom for granted by asking these most pertinent questions is subject matter that should be required reading leading to discussion matter in talk shows and documertaries. Looking at what the political leaders are leading our country into with such desregard for the constitution begs your two questions to be answered, Thank you for sharing this Bob. and Congratulations!

A story as old as time - unfortunately. Sometimes, in history, more relavent than at other times, but oft repeated. Something we should never forget to remind ourselves about. It is up to each of us to care and make sure it was not in vain. Nice job. Joe

Well, for some years, as in ten, I have delt with this issue; having my son serve in Afganastan and Kuwait now. I'm one who does care sir ! Touching write dear poet ! Have a blessed week....much love, james
