Sun rupture allowed it to intrude,
exploring soft warm day's solitude.
Benign blossoming crest of fine
Suttle Vin jaune subtle wine,
filling the open-air in evocative
passive spectrum colors held captive.
Whiff fragrant breath upon my cheek;
buds unfurl off true artistry still, meek.
Butterflies and hummingbirds’ flit,
touch melting honey and jasmine sit.
Quenching breeze as shadows meander,
novel and cup of tea under the covered veranda.
