Soft Sands of Sorrow

This is a tale...that did take sail Of how I met the sisters at the shore One was pretty...the other witty So I got wet and wanted to know more In her neglect...it did effect The way she stared at me To make her smile...it took a while If she even cared to be In her loneliness...I must confess It was a sad site to see With Angel eyes...that did disguise Her constant flight to flee If I could yell...and break the spell And not command her fragile frown To give her hope...so she could cope and Wash away the sand from those who put her down. My dear Warrior this touched me deeply. If only everyone looked with unsheilded eyes; to see into a heart as you.

Good write, best of luck in the contest. This had a beautiful melancholy feel to it. As an observer to the observing, all we hope for is a smile.
