Soft Reflections Of

early shadows
gray skies through window
silence eases my mind
filled with
visions and dreams

revelations of

bare limbs painted
in dark colors
with
fine strokes
and broad strokes

a sparrow calls

from where
I don’t know

I breathe

old lives
shed like skin
but remembered

feelings stir
before words

lines whisper

and find form
on a blank page

a glow through the window
enlightens another day

I like almost the pencil line you paint in dark colors with fine and broad stokes.
