~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the land of laundry, where socks reside,
there's a sneaky thief who loves to hide.
I put two socks in the wash, you see,
but only one returns to keep me company.
Where do you go, my dear sock friend?
Do you escape on some great sock trend?
Do you join a circus, dancing on a wire?
Or do you simply vanish into thin air?
The sock thief is clever, that much is true,
leaving me with a single sock, feeling blue.
But fear not, dear thief, for I'll end your game,
and one day, my sock collection will be the same.
