So I Suppose You Should
So I Suppose You Should
So I suppose you should succeed,
And also always want to take the lead.
Continue to improve and do your best,
Our sins confess and by God be blessed.
Pray to God so He can graciously say
If you will only do things my own way.
Success will surely be in your sight
After I give God my prayers every night.
Father, don’t leave me or ever forget.
I see you each day when the sun does set
In the morning as it comes up again,
And you help me through my thick and thin.
I know that I soon will pass away.
Heaven will again be my home one day,
And my soul I also possess and have still;
God’s wishes and desires continue to fulfill.
