Snowman Saw a Star
Snowman saw a star
And it was fancy too
It showed up in the East
twinkling white and blue
Do you think it’s the same star
That announced where Jesus was? He asked.
His companion was a deer
Whose shadow was downcast.
I have no idea, the fawn said.
But even if is the same
We have no idea if it is up there
or gone years ago, in Jesus’ name.
For stars shine on for years
After they are gone
Just like our Savior child.
The one we all count on.
