Emile Pinet Poet Free verse

Snowflakes

Charcoal skies are dappled with overstuffed clouds
spread across it like a down duvet
stuffed with fluffy frozen flakes
that fall to the ground
as puffs of
snow
that gather,
and blot out the sun
behind a curtain of white.
Saturating the heavens above,
charcoal skies are dappled with overstuffed clouds.
