Snowflakes

Early dawn rises, two souls awaken from their nightly sleep, coffee is brewed, morning tasks completed, only us left in our home…

We step outside to winters soft snowflakes kissing our cheeks, no sound we make, only to hear GODS creation of heavenly white blessings..two souls walking hand in hand..

Cardinals, squirrels accompany us on a silent journey, looking up to heaven, giving thanks for everything He giveth us, two souls joined together by Our Savior walking amidst HIS heavenly snowflakes, like us no two are the same.

We pause as to face each other, lovingly gaze into each others eyes, no words needed, embracing my husband, two souls together fur 30 plus years, facing life’s ups and downs together, Our Saviors Grace, love, compassion, as our guide, snow covets our bodies, who ever said winters beauty cannot be embraced?

For this advent season Mary mother of GOD receiveth baby Jesus in her womb, she said yes to the Holy Spirit, we too just be patient and wait, for something more beautiful than a light snowfall is coming, to save us, teach us, love us embrace each and every one of US in ways we can never imagine.

As we start on our way home, pine trees coveth with heavens snowflakes, we are filled with HIS HOLY Spirit in our hearts, I wrap my hand in my Husbands hand, and silently say a prayer of thanksgiving to God, for my blessings He given me, on this fine winters day..
