Snow

I feel at home when it snows, because it's as cold as my heart No one knows how much pain I hold in my scars I'm numb to pain, I've shut my feelings off I feel at home when it snows, because it's as cold as my heart Pain is all I've ever known, but if I say I love you I mean it It's just I'm unable to show it, so you won't get to see it I'm unable to express it in action, because I've never seen it That's why I won't say I love you, because I don't know how to make you believe it I've been through too much to be affected by anything now Just as I started to fly, they cut my wings down Some girls wonder why I don't show affection and ask where my heart has gone I tell them, there's an icebox where my heart used to be like I'm Omarion I have my wall up at all times and remain protected This poem is all over the place, but I don't have the heart to redirect it They bring up my bipolar disorder and make fun I laugh in their face because I've been made numb Parents never gave me a hug, so I don't open my arms As some are self-inflicted I can heal my own scars You wouldn't hear my heart beat even if I did get scared I'm so psychotic that I day dream about my nightmares I feel at home when it snows, because it's as cold as my heart No one knows how much pain I hold in my scars I'm numb to pain, I've shut my feelings off I feel at home when it snows, because it's as cold as my heart
