11/6/2023 Thank you, Mom for a kitchen floor, sparkling clean. You make me smile, you are my heart’s very gleam! Each fun-filled, glorious day, is just ours together. It really matters, not to us, what the outside weather. Sun or rain, I snuggle near you, I bring you my peace, To pen your simple poetry, and may you never cease. I am smiling today to your sweet,kind poet friends. You meet them in the morn, and when the day ends!

Dearest Christina! I am thrilled you caught the part that was the whole point of the poem, it was about poets here, not my cat.I can see how easily it comes off that way.. but people who know me, know that I have written of her before!! The image was perfect. It cracks me up. Hugs, Pangie xx

Pangie, you know I love cats and cat poetry. A delightful photo accompanies your poem. I've enjoyed numerous cats during my lifetime but have never seen one smile! Jeff is relaxing on my desk as I type this and is scowling at me! Bob

Like being in a race, my goal is to win, not to nurse hurt feelings. And yes, that serenity-prayer is awesome. God gives us a trophy each morning.
