Slower Why Don'T We
A little slower why don't we
To listen, to see and to feel
If only to truly ever be
What it means to be truly real
We do things expectantly for...
Whether a self or everyone else
Might we unexpectedly adore
The nature of all things without a tell?
What do we need... satisfied?
Why do we need to satisfy?
I was satisfied but my thrill died
And I satisfy onto but why?
Is it for a place in the world?
For the confines of the imagined world adhere
Do you play a part for your world you hurl?
When too far are we all to feel too near...
If it only takes to ever truly be
We are all unreal to only be real
Ever slower why don't we
To listen, to see and to feel
