No sooner that a desire does arise
Know ego is at play
Our nonchalant soul presence blocks it’s rise
Lest joy veiled by clouds grey
Dark fears then holding sway
When single pointed be our attention
We’re centred in the void
Flicker-free then is our meditation
Vibrant heart by love buoyed
No longer by fate toyed
Earth life sojourn then unfolds by itself
For we’re not the doer
No desirous agenda’s on our shelf
Life mellow and slower
God alone’s the mover
