Sleeping Somewhere New
When you are sleeping somewhere new
the blanket of the night askew
the sounds of silence tuned to change
your thoughts and dreams to rearrange
Those garden walks for moonlit skies
to set upon your weary eyes
horizons yet unseen to take
to run and tumble when you wake
So nature’s palette paints once more
Just as a sailor waves to shore
adventures now, so much to do
when you are sleeping somewhere new
