Sleep Talking

Wendy was fast asleep Her husband Warren Also in deep slumber Suddenly Wendy awoke Warren was talking aloud The sound of Warren's voice Had startled Wendy-so- She sat up to listen His words were scrambled Wendy did not understand So she just turned over Then went back to sleep Wondering about the dream Also what he had said In his sleep talking dream

Hi Darlene, Your poem encapsulates the mind's mystery. So many psychoanalysts have attempted to unlock it with dream therapy. Even animals experience dreams. Yet, most of us remember little of our dreams when we are awake. Nice work!

I had a dream where I woke up laughing and kept giggling for a bit then remembered what I was laughing at which wasn’t as funny as the dream led me to believe :) snort snort...for all such laughter must have a snort attached to it!

All i konod remember is that i talk about poetry with friends when i am sleeping i play guitar in my dreams, and i sing songs of the past... sometimes scream (says my wife)in general i love my dreams... such a great write my dear, salute alkas

when i was a child i not only talked in my sleep but walked in it as well...glad i outgrew both... good poem, has the reader wanting to know what he was mumbling about too :) hugs
