Slaughter

My tears flood me, my mind boggles, and my fears are real. I see blood gushing, her head severed, death unveiled. Fear of my life, fear in my mind, I was three. He lift his hand, machete clutched tight, it was daddy. A quick swoosh, dead silence, mommy froze. Her body fluttered, her blood spurted out, she groaned. He looked at me, spotted with blood, his eyes gloat. Dropped the machete; picked up his gun; pointed to his throat. A loud bang, I jumped, he fell. I now realize both my parents are dead.
