Awesome work. I had fun doing mine and I can't wait to see all the winners when they appear. I did not post mine yet. I don't even have time to type up the three poems I wrote by hand the other day. I can't even keep up with comments here. haha

Dear sweet valsa! Youv nailed this form! Iv actually been skiing once in swiss alps, mont blanc and was not a good experience for me as i cant skii hah! So that first line really did bring back those memories! And i love how this one flows too. “ N ot shaken by the steep landing with wind giving me a chilling fee L,” i felt the adrenaline rush of a person doing just that as i read that line! How creative is this. You always writ on various themes just so very well! A fave this is for me! BoL

This seems a bit short for your normal type of poem.. It is an imaginative acrostic which creates real imagery.. Best of luck in the contest..

Dearest Valsa, this is indeed a well crafted double acrostic! Wonderful images! Nicely done! And, as a former ski instructor, I can feel the wind, the exhilaration and the triumph of each successful run! Time to start getting ready for next season! Blessings dear friend! Thanks for the trip down the slopes.

I have never been skiing, though I do have relatives that ski often, and love it. Well said. Thrilling write. The slippery slope of poetry.

Wonderful work. Way to go. Reads like a good contender to me. When I was young, I might have enjoyed skiing but not anymore. LOL..Too breakable. Sara K

This is a wonderful acrostic, with each line using the letters at the beginning and end of each line. Very well done. Blessings.
