Six Simpering Thick-Skinned Shifty Spinster Sisters

Six simpering thick-skinned shifty spinster sisters stiffly sit
Stitching sticky skid-marked scivvies of sixty sick stingy sailors.
Six sick from stitching scivvies of sixty sick scrimping sailors
Stickle over nickels; those insistent six thick-skinned spinster tailors!

clever poem is this, and a joy to read, yes i read aloud and got there, the word nickels on the last line saved me, from losing it.

Nope I didn't place in the tongue twister contest either. I guess different people find different things difficult to say. I read many of the winners without any problems, this one I must say is quite tricky - I didn't make it throught the first time.

Andrea darrrrrr-LING! This was very difficult to read and the concept was hilarious! Just picturing six sisters doing any activity together seems funny and your six sisters were a HOOT! Thanks for writing for my contest..the funnest judging I have ever done yet!! Love, Gwendolen

Andrea Yay we are back in PS! I miss everybody. Opps sorry I did have a mistake when I recited it! Clever work Andrea. It seems forever for the website to come back, but here we go again! By the way where is your reservoir of witty ideas? I wish I could be infected if I go dive and swim in that reservoir! Dalila Dalila Dalila

Definitely a stumper, Andrea, and very witty as well. I could read it "slowly," but that's the old broadcaster. Best wishes in Gwendolen's super contest! These entries are fun to read. Love, Carolyn
