Sinking, Drowning, Grasping

As I am sinking, as I slowly drown, I am grasping, making no sound, suffocating as I go under, things are going dark will there come a saviour to rescue me and save the day It's gone beyond me saving myself I tried so hard but floundered and now I need some help or it's all over and all good things will come to an end.

My immediate thought was, "All good things come to a new beginning." I like dramatic verse; so now you are teaching me. Thank you.
