Simple Pleasures

After a long and tiring working day A lavender bath soaks my cares away Hearing my husband’s car purr onto the drive Knowing he’s home safely, oh it's good to be alive! Seeing a beautiful rainbow high up in the sky An upside down smile from heaven, always catches my eye Moonlight walk along the silver sand Walking with my husband, hand in hand Curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea Composing lots and lots of my poetry Simple Pleasures Contest Sponsor Kim Merryman 22nd January 2016
