Silver Moon Dreams
Silver Moon Dreams
Silver moon beams lay upon the snow.
Gentle quiet graced the winter night.
A flickering candle was the only light.
Silver moonlight danced upon the drifts.
Wintry winds made piles of snow so high.
Stars were bright as diamonds in the sky.
Silver moonglow shows the right pathway.
Crunching feet walk swiftly to their home.
One set of footprints means they are alone.
Silver moon rays flood into the room.
Tiny light specks sprinkle on the sheets.
White fingers transform them like bleach.
Silver moon dreams play inside the mind.
as we’re wrapped up warm within our beds
with the next day’s visions in our heads.
