Silver
Silver
I was looking around the room and you were there.
I saw a stranger with silver hair.
I just wanted to know your name.
Maybe our age might be the same.
I’m not sure if I have the courage to ask you out on a date?
With city lights, we could walk hand in hand even if it’s kind of late.
Could I have a chance with someone beautiful like you?
In a dark place I am, it would be a breakthrough.
Just one dance with red wine.
You're like a ruby that's so hard to find.
I have no words to describe how I feel.
Maybe one day you will appear, and it will be so real.
I have to move on from the past.
With just a touch maybe this will last.
I have to let go of yesterday and move on.
I finally found ya, so why did it take so long?
Time that we left begins new memories.
The smile you gave me; you look so carefree.
A wonderful woman that stands before me in silver.
One day we could go on a journey in a boat down river.
Face to face, you were shy.
Looking into your eyes, you're so divine.
You are extraordinary in every way.
You gave me purpose to keep living day by day.
