Silk On the Reef

Eating a bowl of strawberries one by one Slanted thoughts popping the mind. Tickling and teasing blunt and obtuse sprinting and bleeding. Universe and island hot rains and suns cold. Tranquility and mayhem lie in the same bed. The bowl of strawberries - half gone Some bittersweet Some stained with sleek. Time has been quite jagged. Like pieces of silk on the reef. So many blessings- so many friends Where do they hide? Why have they all fled. The bowl is empty, thoughts are half calmed. Iron seeds caught between the smiles. The rain falls hard, the soil is gone.
