Silk Castle

I live in a house, A house that’s made of silk. Blue and violet, The color of my silky sheets. On a strong winters day, The wind was unforgiving. My house and all its contents were slowly blown away. The smooth silk roof and my lush silk floor, Were the first removed my precious kingdom. I had a dog named Silky, And soon he was stolen too. Bit by bit, silk pieces left my house. I watched them blow away from me to a foreign place. The wind subsided, and I was very relieved. My silk crypt that I called home, is now a deserted island. A memory is all my castle is, because only I remain. Maybe on a different day, I’ll build my silk fortress again.
