I don't know. I sort of got into it and whipped out three of them. I love to play word games...have my entire life. It's sort of a game, trying to make something with alliteration that makes sense, sort of. Also, I loved trying to write a poem within the restrictions without using words starting with any other letter. It can be done!

Thank you, Alexis. I love word games and playing with words, so it does seem to come easier for me. Today was the first time I ever tried to work with alliteration except for an occasional two or three words in a poem. Give it a try!

Thanks, Carolyn. I like word games, so I think I kind of "took to" it. First time I ever really thought about it until the contest.

Oops, I had another one in me. Sorry! I love word puzzles, so this whole alliteration thing is fun for me, and I had never tried it before. I'd love to see one written with the letter X.....

LOL. Couldn't resist finishing ideas I came up with for the contest. That'll do it. Time to move on. It was a fun write, though. You should give it a try! The difficulty is finding words that work, make sense, and sort of tell a story.

Hey, David! I hadn't thought of that, but I'm sure going to try it. Thanks for your read. I truly appreciate it. Incidentally, although I sometimes use alliteration inadvertently in writing, this is my first attempt to do a poem entirely so. I think it worked...hope so!
