Silent Whispers of War Screaming

metaphors of the sunset
simplicity of the i ching
metaphors of the desert wasteland
organised warnings we withdraw from
never getting enough of this void
survival pieces
a whole world to support the son of god
what is he really going through
born again
born again
born again
energy never dies
the metaphors of the rainstorm
sometimes heaven sends us messages
of the devil of every surprise

Echoes of emotion
what is the cure for cancer
among the predictable patterns
of horror movies
war mongerers
the television sits in the corner
and lies to me
the weather man knows nothing
of calms of the storm
artistic depression
insignificant circumstance
no one would notice just that one

the mole among the spies
on a list of terrorist informants
thank you horror flicks
the happy side of the cup shows me something
i will survive
one way or another
i will make it through this
but the energy will never die
the energy spirals out

the formlessness of thought
refusing to be led
the colors of deception
the satisfaction of the revenge of honey for the flies

why does every story you read betray you
why does this story never end
how long shall we live in resentments
to regeret this party we threw
and didnt enjoy
survival instincts
paths of least resistance
sometimes we have to go about things the hard way

searching the illusions for the blessings
in the midst of smoke and mirrors
where are the truths of this reality

the center stage of life
simple things
the message in the midst of metaphor
never saw this coming
never meant to say that
but sounds so funny
just jumped right out of my mouth
instructions to the miracle
one by one
famous red carpet grave
fatal mistakes
all the getwell cards are deceptive
thanks for the halo
but now i wont fit in with your hell
