Signs Along a Country Road

Fellers if you really want to save face, And stay in your little darlin's grace, Clear your mug of all that stubble, With Burma Shave on the double! She kindly refused his fond embrace, Because of all that stubble on his face! Shave a little closer next time, Bob! Burma Shave will do the job! She may admire that dimple on your chin, And those pearly whites when you grin, But if she refuses to give you a kiss and hug, Slather a heap of Burma Shave on your mug! If she says your face feels like steel wool, And says that you appear rather dull, Romance will improve and for sure she'll rave, If only you'll lather your mug with Burma Shave! Robert L. This was great, Rob! I'm not sure where you got the title (perhaps your darling was trying to get a little action while you were driving down the road and your beard got between you two?... lol!). Even Burma Shave would have been a fine title! I can't stand facial hair as well... out of laziness I let it get out of hand, but because my beard curls it's super annoying!

Hi Bob/Vera - Misplaced your E-Mail address. Just to let you know, my beloved Una, passed away on 7 May. I haven't been active on "Soup" for a while, but thought I would let you know. God bless and keep her in your prayers. Ralph

You never disappoint...This is great..you should submit it to a travel magazine , or AAA . I saw a sad attempt by someone to get them started again.but half of them had fallen down and it made no sense. BG
