I feel the calm before the storm in this one .... its that moment when your hair stands on end with the electricty in the air you really are a very expressive writer ... beautiful work .. Love Jayne

Indeed, nature is always the stage manager. We can but look and appreciate her work. More storms rolled through today and the lightning was described on TV as "cloud to earth." Bright flashes lit up the backyard, but the old sang through the entire event. Tonight, the bullfrogs are out paying tribute to Mother Nature for providing the rain. Quite a chorus in the backyard. You describe the "show of force" very well in your poem. Excellent haiku, James! Love you, Carolyn
