Show me God
We asked the monk how to see God
It depends, he said, who's asking
Surely not mind, multitasking
First step is to make world view broad
Knowing we’re soul, not body-mind
Thus, let not ego cravings bind
Gentling thought flow, give love a nod
Allow head to meld with the heart
Once presence is still, we may start
Bliss engulfs us, when heart has thawed
Fact not fiction, please believe this
Our innate attribute is bliss
When we see His light, we are awed
Bright light, soft white, glowing within
He dwells in our heart; go therein
We asked the monk how to see God
First step is to make world view broad
Gentling thought flow, give love a nod
Bliss engulfs us, when heart has thawed
When we see His light, we are awed
