Give no ear to evil
nor lead eye to that which

there, the spirit as well

It is indeed short and really sweet. Valuable lessons for life. The sensory organs especially the eyes and ears should be guarded against evil. Never listen to defamatory gossips or wrong advice so that you will never be misled. Also never cast eyes on anything that will contaminate the soul. Then spirit and heart will share a bunk. So concisely and powerfully put, dear Joe.

Powerful reminder to us all, this sounds like one of the sayings my dad used to say when growing up. And hence why this hits strong for me. Its easier in a world to grt influenced but to follow the good and leave no space or give no ear for evil is necessary to stay away from gettn misled. Your way with writing always is so resonating and readers feel the depth of what you convey dear joe. Sending you light always. Pleasure reading your work
