Shooting Star
On my way home tonight,
looked out my window to see something bright,
noticed a shooting star in my sight,
made a wish with all my might.
Lord, hear my crying plea,
oh, please let the court see,
let them see this is 'cause of me,
please don't let this come to be,
hope he wins this case 'cause of us powerful three,
don't let him get sent away like me, Ashlee.
Made a call to you today,
you told me there is much to say,
you said something happened the other day,
you told me we can now go hang out and play.
I screamed and jumped with so much pride,
I thought I could have almost died,
now there is so much happiness in my mind,
just hope you didn't make that lie.
Come to think of it I did cry,
I didn't even have to try,
but the tears they all went dry,
now we don't have to say good-bye.
