Ship
A nautical mess adrift on seas of emotion
Finding himself once a feeble notion
A first mate who eventually abandoned ship
His heart put on paper, which she gave a rip
Finally, he found a port to replenish the crew
About half of them, nearly ran him through
The ship once again, he thought, was sank
Were it not for quick judgment, in using the plank
This voyage of discovery would have bewn brought a quick and bitter end
Instead, he found a ride or die, an intuitive muse, a once in a life time, and three lifelong friends
