Shiny the Sunbeam Was a Summer sunshine rose With a visor hat and a ruddy glow And sunglasses on his nose Shiny the Sunbeam Is radiation they say He was made of a UV But all the adults see Is their tan on holiday There must have been some magic in That new lotion they found For when they slathered it on No longer do they go brown Shiny the Sunbeam Is radiation they say He was made of a UV But all the adults see Is their tan on holiday

You ain’t wrong about Shiny the Sunbeam Dilly, this one has a frightful amount of ironic truth, with a very pertinent moral that this adult should pay more attention to on holiday, intelligent writing as always, cheers David

Adorable, and fits Frosty the snowman PERFECTLY. Every word fits the tune exactly. You are an amazing poet to be able to do this and make it look so easy. This has got to be a winner. No-one could do better ! So clever to make up a character, the opposite of a snowman. Well done D. A fave for me.

Haha I'm having an existential crisis over here about the fact he doesn't have a nose for the sunglasses... I think this might have been one of the most difficult contests I've done :) thanks for the feedback - I'll send you a video of me singing it :)
