She's No Lady
The Eastern Seaboard is on the alert.
They are expecting a call from Irene.
We are all praying that no one is hurt,
Since she is stronger than most have yet seen.
Experts say she will be ugly and mean.
The warnings are stay away from the sea,
It’s much safer just to pick up and flee.
Millions live in her aggressive pathway
And we’re hoping that they all will take heed,
That upon the higher ground they will stay.
Irene’s coming at a very high speed
She’s bound to cause vile destruction indeed.
Damages will be billions of dollars
According to economy scholars.
