She: the White Rose

Milky petals propagate in circles Blooming into purity Silky smooth layers wrap around each other Attracting even the Queen Bee To mark a new beginning, She opens herself up to the world With immense pride she matures But why do all the creatures... Observe her from afar? Beneath her beauty lies danger Without knowing, she is armed with thorns, Mother Nature’s dreadful gift As her allure fades she cries for help Her existence craves a simple touch But with the nasty chill, And the bundling snow She closes herself off— As no one comes for her.
