Pouring out her soul, she confronts life's lies; flinching from the pain fate has inflicted. There was no way she could have predicted that betrayal would materialize. And she sought a way to rationalize, feeling devastated and conflicted. Emotional wounds via physical pain; and untreated, fear festers into hate. Excluding love, nothing can compensate her for forever dreams, she dreamed in vain. And swirling doubts soon spawn a hurricane; as she watches hope deteriorate. She has nothing left but corrosive tears, and yet, despite her fears, she perseveres.
