she never felt loved

Shelly did not live long Two years four months and six days She was sickly Her parents were angry with her They had astronomical hospital bills And mountains of resentment They both told her they wished she had died She never felt loved It was not a life she would have chosen She never knew her grandparents The best two days of her life were in the hospital After her kidney surgery Before her parents both told her "I wish you had died"
