She Knew

She intuitively knew she had to come here
This town that just happens to be so near
To the one who bears his heart oh so clear,
After meeting, promised to never disappear.

Waited upon a metaphorical mountain peak,
Living in her truth her heart will always seek.
He came to her when future seemed bleak,
"You deserve better," kissing her cheek.

"I only desire you," she whispered softly
Into his ear as she held him so tenderly.
Her devotion had moved him emotionally,
As he fought his sense of temptation silently.

Eventually, he embraced her ever closer,
The energies of their souls evolved further,
As their love soon made everything better.
Never again would they lose each other.
