She Had Hidden Star Power

She was pensive, innocent, lovely Surrounded and blessed by a rainbow aura Unassuming and unsuspecting, not recognizing her power We knew she was a star The forest animals felt it We saw her aura, and understood how blessed she was We led her to her power animals Raccoon, deer, fox, turtle, owl and wolf Letting her howl her truth and walk the way of her ancestors.

Marvelous poem, Caren. Enjoyed it so much. Make me think of our Native American brothers and sisters.

I always wanted to be a Native American; my DNA test came back and I know it is a LIE. Not one sliver of Native American or Black. I hate DNA tests now!
