She Gets In the Way

She gets in the way She's so tuned in I want to throw a radio at her head I know that might sound violent but still She ruins my plans She thinks she knows you best She's in between buddy and possible next But she can't be next Cause i'm not through I have things on my mind Things she'll never do I can never get you alone Not that I try Cause she stalks Stalks you even more than the guy she claims to like You call her for every detail She calls you with every secret Secrets that were supposed to be kept secret Things that don't even matter much Yet she finds the time to ring your phone What kind of life does she have That she won't leave you alone? Sometimes I yell about it not to your face Cause clueless as you are I think you know it bothers me I can't seem to understand how she could take my place Not as a girl friend but merely a friend She vaccuming all the empty spaces Leaving me no way to enter again Yet she says she's not after you but really I don't believe her She says she's trying to help me out Helping would be leaving the country Or throwing yourself off a bridge and sinking No really I'm not that mean I just wish she understood how in the way she was But she doesn't get it Sometimes I wish she understood But like you she's just clueless
