Sharon-Lee
You thought you lost everything
Had nothing to live for
But I still saw you
As you were
Just not as happy
You talked about
Everything you couldn’t do
Disregarding all you still could
You lost your balance
Your outlook warped
I thought with time
It would mend
I couldn’t see
There would never be enough time
To heal your shattered spirit
Till you eventually let yourself
Die of a broken heart
