The Birth of Shakespeare
Shakespeare The Poet
In modest hues
The walls blush yellow
Where hallways meet
A fragrant bloom
So proud her glow
With tear and wallow
A child born
Of fervent dream
And there to rest
With eyes that measure
A shadowed nook
Of words redeem
In silent thought
A mind to gather
Where seasons pass
with eyes aglow
In modest hues
The walls blush yellow
Where hallways meet
A fragrant bloom
