Shake It Up
I see so many suffering
From all the changes thrown at us
We’re just waking up surviving
As if we all missed the last bus
A cloud of loneliness above
Touches isolation around
This place we seek comfort and love
As we yearn for peace to be found
Truth hits hard and loss does not stop
Hold tight to all inspiration
It’s not so easy just to shop
We must find our own creation
Do not be deaf to the bird song
Take in the sun before it rains
Living authentic is not wrong
Shake it all up, see what remains
