Shadows of Winter
was sitting out back
...in the screened area...
on the deck
...watching the sun set...
camera at hand
...as insects swarmed...
dragon flies hovered
...darted and feasted...
then rested on bushes
...wings glistening...
in the setting sun light
...shining as diamonds...
of some past winters ice
...a treasure of nature...
making photos so nice
